Best for product design teams already standardized on Figma who want incremental productivity boosts. The auto-layout suggestions save time on repetitive component work. Content generation helps mock up realistic designs without manually typing lorem ipsum or finding stock photos. It's a nice-to-have, not a must-have.

Where it disappoints: limited features compared to standalone AI design tools, doesn't generate full designs from prompts (yet), and requires Figma paid plans. If you're looking for AI to design entire interfaces from text descriptions, try v0.dev or Galileo AI instead. Figma AI is an enhancement for existing workflows, not a paradigm shift.
